Rooms not worth it

I was disappointed in the rooms. While the rooms are standard sizes and appeared clean, the outdated look and a few blemishes here and there made the rooms seem dull and not the lust I was expecting for the money and being in Vegas. One of two pictures were missing on the wall with a blank board in its place and one of the two lamp post had broken parts all over it. It lead me to believe a previous guest got into a romp and the hotel did not fix/replace what was broken. The t.v.s are old box style which granted isn't that big of a deal, but for the amount of money we spent on the rooms I would have expected it to be more up to date and modern. Also the bathrooms could use a remodeling as well; there was missing caulk, dents and scratches on the toilet and bathtub. I will say though that the beds were super comfy, but they did not use a fitted sheet so the flat sheet kept pulling down; weird for them not to use fitted sheets. The hotel in of itself is nice and cozy, not to enormous, staff is friendly; lobby, spa, pool and casino areas are nice. The food court offers a wide variety of options and the restaurants are a bit pricey but the food is delicious. Next time I come to Vegas I will stay somewhere else until they update their rooms.

My wife and i have stayed at the Monte Carlo twice now and it just keeps getting better. The rooms are wonderful and VERY comfortable, the pool is excellent and the hotel property itself is very well maintained. Now that the City Center is done it is a great plus for the Monte Carlo. Now you can use the monorail to travel easily between the Monte Carlo and Bellagio. And its free!!!

We just stayed at the Monte Carlo for 4 nights. We had a basic room on the 12th floor. The room was luxurious, the bathroom was huge, and the king bed was very comfy. My husband really liked the rainfall shower head. The towels were fluffy, the staff was SO nice, internet was fast, and they brought us a fridge when we asked for one. My only complaint is that the air conditioner was cool but never cold. I like to sleep very cold, so this wasn't the best situation, but it was 109 degrees outside so I understand. We ate at the buffet and the Cafe. Both great experiences. Nice staff, great food, and easy to find. I even won in the casino! The location was good. We had a ball and WILL BE BACK!

Check in was excellent, quick and they were very polite. They took care of our luggage all the way up to our room. The casino was very nice and friendly workers too. The best restaurant for us is the Buffet where a person can purchase an all day buffet for $* per adult which was well worth it and saved us money too. The pool was too crowded but is expected especially during Summer months but there was something better than the pool which was the spa located on the 2nd floor where a person who is staying at the hotel can take use of their gym, jacuzzi, whirl pool, sauna and the steam room for only $* a day in which they pamper a person by giving you a locker, slippers and a robe. The spa bathroom was very nice due to the showers, shampoo, conditioner, disinfected hairbrushes, throw away razors & cream, deodorant, etc. I loved it except for the fact that I couldn't enjoy the jaccuzi with my husband :( cuz its separated. The room service was very respecful and gave us what we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were also comfortable and I slept very well although my husband and daughter didnt sleep well which I don't understand. I also like the fact that there was a tram for free that takes people to 2 other hotels with out going outside at all, that was awesome! I would definitely stay at this hotel again but I will try out other hotels in the future to see how they are too. If you choose to stay at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino then hopefully your stay will be just as good as mine was. Good luck!
