Actually we upgraded to THEhotel. Our room was big and neat and offered a nice view from The Strip from the 38th floor. The beach was awesome and so was the entire ambiance. The staff was extremely friendly and there was a lot to do within the hotel itself. However the food was extremely overpriced and walking anywhere was an adventure...way too far. To say youve stayed at the Mandalay its good once but when we go back well definitely pick a closer place to all the action. Overall it was enjoyable...Viva Las Vegas!!!

It was hard to get around with the way the elevators were located for separate floors. The pool was overly crowded for having to pay a resort fee. The grill food prices were too high. We set three shirts down on the floor by accident on level 32, near the elevators and when we returned not even 10 minutes later; they were gone. We had to wait in line for nearly 10 minutes to take our elevator to our room. We had to wait forever to just get a beach chair and then listen to the life guards yell at everyone to get to the blue line all day. The life guards were rude! Speaking to people like they are supposed to know how the wave pool works automatically. There were no channels to watch on the TV (very cheap) and there is a deposit for viewing what movies are available for rent (are you kidding)?? The TV only has a few channels and they are all advertisements. There were only 2 full size towels, when we had four registered at check in. There were no hand towels and we had to request them.

The Mandalay Bay has been the best hotel I ever stayed in, the room was very clean. I wanted to stay in the bathroom all day, that's how nice it was. All together I will say the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is one of the best if not the best hotel on the Vegas Strip.

The hotel was great, i booked 3 rooms and every body won at the casino, the rooms are cool, they are like little suites, for the money i paid worth it. i paid * for night, good price, room service is great and vary nice, the pool at this place is great,they have a beach and a lazy river, the only thing i did not like was the buffet, it sucks for that much money, every thing else rocks. A quick word.... if u are single and want to hook up or party? DAM!!!!!!!!!! this is a good place to BE. i will stay there from now on,

If you're up for a vacation of being treated like dirt this is the hotel for you! The Morrea pool that we paid $* (husband & me) entrance fee was the worst. I paid $* for a tiny plastic cup of runny pina colada drink. There was not a hint of alcohol in the $* drink. The music was so loud you couldn't hold a conversation and the music selection was horrible for the clientele @ the pool. Every other word was F this and F that. Granted it's an over 21 pool but that doesn't mean I want to hear vulgar music the entire time I'm by the pool. The waitresses that serve the drinks couldn't smile to save their lives. I heard other guests also saying how crabby the waitresses were. The next day at the wave pool the life guards job is to maintain the crowd in about a 30 foot section of water. They spend most of their time blowing their whistles yelling at people to stand in one little section so you're on top of each other. I was laying next to the lifeguard stand where I overheard the ligeguards calling the people "disgusting", yes disgusting and complained about everyone in the water. That evening we stopped at the concierge counter to get direction for shopping and the girl there couldn't get rid of us quick enough. The only pleasant person I encountered were the attendants in the spa. That was a great experience.
