Would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are dark and dreary. Not enough soap and towels. If you were unfamiliar with hotel you could not find a place for a cheap breakfast. Found one into our 4th day of 6. Casino manager was very helpful though. Pool boring.

My wife and I went to Vegas for the second time. We had stayed at Caesar's the first time and we really enjoyed it. This time we wanted to stay somewhere different. My wife suggested Planet Hollywood. They do Miss USA, True Beauty, and other television tapings there. It is a very upbeat hotel/casino. The room was very nice. Memorabilia from A League of There Own was in our room. The buffet was phenomenal it literally takes up an entire floor. I do suggest getting the 24 hour buffet pass, it is a bargain. The casino is large, very nice, but super loud! They play dance and mixes all night long. You can barely enjoy yourself because the music is so freaking loud. You will not get a drink there, believe me. They do not come around very often for a drink order. Other than losing a lot of money there (slots are not loose, dealer wins on just about every hand), the loud music constantly blasting, and a long check in upon arrival it's just ok. I have visited many other casinos and have seen better. If you like non-stop party in your ear. You have picked a winner here.

Prior to heading to Vegas, a member of our prepaid party of 3 had to back out of the trip. Needless to say we were a little bummed, and very tired after flying in from Charlotte. I let the registration staff know that we would not be needing a second room, and would like to upgrade the other room if the price was right. It was! If you don't know, standard rooms are in high demand. Premium rooms during the week are not booked as often. We were offered an upgrade to a 2br Panorama Suite for a VERY significant discount and jumped at the offer. Needless to say the view was incredible! This was my second stay with PH, and I look forward to many more!

Only for location could you justify a room rate of over $*because the rooms themselves are rather blah. The only thing "Hollywood" about the rooms is one or two cheap movie prints. Rooms themselves are ok, but walls can be thin and there is no mini-bar. If you need something to drink like a Coke or bottle of water, you need to call room service, wait 1/2 an hour, pay $* for a Coke plus a tip. With a mini-bar they

Arrived at PH around 12:30 AM. I had reseved 2 Resort rooms. Was told no Resort rooms were left (even though my reservations said Guaranteed) and was given 2 "Hip-Hop" rooms. The next day went to front desk because we hated the rooms and was told that "no where on our reservation did it say Resort Room". I was furious. Only because I was a repeat customer at PH they upgraded me to a Vista room and my sons moved to a Resort Room. Had I not complained I would have paid for an upgraded room that I would never have gotten.
